Longan or Dragon’s Eye is a small, translucent fruit with a smooth brown shell and a delicate sweetness. Its energy is gentle and yin, cooling, calming and inward-facing. We source ours from Thailand, Vietnam and China, where longan trees are cultivated in warm, balanced soil using low-intervention methods passed down through generations.

Longan is known as a heart softener. It is ideal during times of emotional digestion, deep rest or when the nervous system is overstimulated. Unlike fruits that energise or purify, Longan helps the body and mind settle, return and reflect.

Its primary energetic influence moves through the heart and third eye chakras, opening emotional perception while allowing the mind to slow. In some individuals, particularly when emotional weight is being released, it also touches the root chakra, helping the system ground safely during the process.
