This luminous green fruit carries the legacy of South America's ancient highland forests. Known as Guavasteen or pineapple guava, it is a sacred cousin to the true guava sharing its unmistakable fragrance and energetic brightness.

Each feijoa is about the size of a small egg, with a waxy green skin etched in subtle ridges. Inside, the texture transitions from firm, grainy flesh to a centre of translucent, jelly-like pulp that glows with a floral, citrusy perfume. Its flavour is unlike any other presenting a vivid blend of pineapple, soft guava with hints of apple. Fresh, invigorating and strangely comforting.

In native and Andean traditions, Feijoa was used in tea infusions and healing tonics for the throat and lungs, with the fruit often left to ripen under moonlight for deeper sweetness. The seeds, though minuscule and edible, are seen as holding the fruit’s internal wisdom — a quiet resonance of clarity.
