Zamli Dates are a soft, small and richly textured variety grown in the warm, fertile valleys of South Africa. Oval in shape with deeply wrinkled skin and melt-in-the-mouth flesh, they embody warmth in every bite. The flavour is unmistakable as a luscious fusion of burnt caramel and sticky toffee, gently balanced by natural fruit sugar and a grounding, mineral-rich earthiness.

Best enjoyed at their tamer stage, when fully ripe, Zamli dates offer a luxurious softness that both comforts and energises. Traditionally eaten across all three stages of ripeness, it is at this peak moment, when the flesh becomes tender and the flavour fully developed, that their true healing quality is revealed.

A fully mature Zamli tree can yield up to 300 kilograms of fruit annually, symbolising both abundance and consistency.
